Children of Origin
The Origin religion focuses upon the individual evolution of spirit.  Through each incarnation, we raise the energy vibration of our true and higher selves, raising it closer to the divine source, whereby we shall fully ascend to a higher plane of existance.  Our coporeal existance is finite, but as beings of light our existance is infinite.   The Path of Origin is the personal journey of each individual who undertakes to raise themselves toward ascension.   Origin is the doorway to the Great Path of Enlightenment.

The Ori are spirits, ancient and wise, that seek to guide us along our journey.  They have already walked the Path, achieved their ascension, and through that enlightenment unlocked the secrets of the divine and infinite universe.  They pass their wisdom to the lower planes through their emissaries.  They stand for freedom above all us, and thus respect the free will of all the entities  within creation.

They do not require our blind faith.  They ask only that we believe that which we see, and know to be true.   Their most fundamental teaching is that all paths lead to the same destination.   Other religions speak of the one and true path to salvation.   The Ori teach us that we do not require salavation, for we were forged from the same divine source as all things.   Thus the only true path is that which we make for ourselves.   Within each of us rests the divine spark of the great creator, that which is the universe in all its infinite complexity and majesty.

Hallowed are we, for we all children of the same universe, and all paths are of Origin.

Group Moderation

Membership to Radcliffe eGroups shall be unmoderated.

Messages posted to Radcliffe eGroups shall be unmoderated.*

Radcliffe eGroups shall not require moderator approval for membership or for messages to be posted to the group.   This is to avoid issues of censorship and to keep the workload required to administrate the eGroup to a minimum.  Messages are reviewed periodically by Radcliffe staff (moderators) to enforce SPAM policies in effect for the eGroups.

*New subscribers to the email discussion list are subjected to a 90-day moderation period in which their postings are required to be approved before being passed on to the group.  This measure was implemented to aid in combatting SPAM.    Typically the user's profile is flagged to unmoderated status after their initial posting has been submitted as once they post to the group, it is generally revealed that they are not a 'spambot'.

 SPAM Policies

eGroups owned and operated by Radcliffe adhere to the following polices regarding user-postings identified to be SPAM.

SPAM shall be defined as messages posted to Radcliffe eGroups that solicit and/or advertise to eGroup membership for products and/or services not considered to be relevant to the eGroup’s topic.   Members to the eGroup may post advertisements for products/services they offer that are relevant to the eGroup’s topic only.   Such postings should be kept to a minimum and members who join and contribute only advertisements may be banned at the moderators’ discretion.

When SPAM is identified the following steps shall be taken to prevent further SPAM from the offending user from being received by the eGroup:

·          User will be banned from the eGroup and will then be unable to send further messages to the eGroup’s mailing list.

·          SPAM messages will be deleted from the message archive contained on the eGroup’s web pages.   (This will not delete such messages that have already been sent to the egroup from appearing in the members’ email inboxes).

For questions, concerns, or to report SPAM, please email egroups@radcliffeulc.org and identify the eGroup for which you are inquiring.
